‘cloud’ hand cast concrete wall planters

  • hand cast billowing concrete units
  • each unit has been individually crafted and lightly honed
  • a single course was used to create a sense of large, pillow-like clouds
  • concrete units measure around 4 square metres each
  • cavity between the units and the structural wall is open at the top and bottom, thereby creating a planter which is capable of allowing tap roots to descend below ground
  • organic shapes complement the organic nature of this edible garden
